GINOOGAMING FIRST NATION— Screen for Life Northwest wants to inform residents that the Screen for Life Coach will be parked at the Health Center Sept. 1, 2022.
If you are due for your breast, cervical, or colon cancer screening, contact your Health Centre or call (807) 684-7777 to book your appointment.
• Women 50 to 74 years of age should have a mammogram every 2 years to screen for breast cancer.
• Individuals with a cervix who are 25 to 69 years of age and have been sexually active should have a Pap test every 3 years to screen for cervical cancer. *If you are under 25, talk with your health care provider.
• Individuals 50 to 74 years of age who do not have a family history of colon cancer should complete a FIT kit every 2 years to screen for colon cancer.
