RED ROCK — Three people face charges after a residence on Highway 628 was searched, leading to the seizure of four firearms.

Provincial police said officers executed a search warrant at the Red Rock residence on Dec. 8.

Along with the firearms, officers also found a small quantity of suspected methamphetamine.

A 43-year-old from Red Rock is charged with one count of drug possession, along with careless storage of a firearm, possession of a prohibited firearm or restricted weapon obtained by crime, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Two other people — a 43-year-old and a 23-year-old — are charged with possession of a firearm or restricted weapon obtained by crime, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

All three have been released from custody and are due in a Nipigon courtroom in March 2023.
