NIPIGON— The Nipigon-Red Rock Horticultural Society is hosting a Seedy Saturday Seed Swap.
On Saturday, Feb. 26, between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. participants will be able to join others and watch a 10-minute indie video, “The Seed Keeper”; after which you can enjoy discussions about the challenges and joys of growing vegetables and flowers and seed saving.
You are asked to package up seeds before Feb. 26, for the “swap”. The organizers will be setting up a virtual seed swag using a Google sheet-hear how this works, and enter your seeds on the sheet.
Drop-off and pick-up locations will be arranged and participants will hear more about this at Seedy Saturday.
A signup form for the Nipigon-Red Rock Horticultural Society (NRRHS) will be provided, with a small meeting afterwards to discuss new directors and the community garden 2022.
