SNCSB hires new assistant plant and field services manager

Superior North Catholic District School Board announces the hiring of a new assistant plant and field services manager.

TERRACE BAY:  In a recent media release, Superior North Catholic District School Board (SNCDSB) announced the hiring of a new assistant plant and field services manager.

SNCDSB has welcomed Karin Patock, as their new assistant plant and field services manager. In her role Patock will be supporting Plant and Custodial Plant Operations and the Community use of Schools Program. Her start date is Sept. 19, 2022.

Patock began her career in Toronto where she held the position of program and resource manager for RBC bank. As program manager she managed the delivery of virtual and in-class learning programs across Canada and the U.S.

Their media notice added that in 2009, Patock moved to Northwestern Ontario to start a business, in the Greenstone region and eventually joined the Greenstone education community in 2020 by taking a position on the SGDSB.

For the next thirteen years, Patock served the Superior-Greenstone and North Shore region as Community use of Schools Coordinator. In 2017 she obtained the OASBO School Board Business Administration Diploma from the University of Guelph.

SNCDSB shared her commitment to supporting the students and staff in a meaningful way. “I am truly excited to join Superior North Catholic District School Board and look forward to building strong relationships and collaborating with various members of the school community to ensure the success and wellbeing of students, so they have the knowledge and feel confident to affect change in the world.
