Snowfall warning in effect for Fort Hope - Webequie area

FORT HOPE -- Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Fort Hope - Webequie area Thursday night into Friday.

A special weather statement Thursday morning says snowfall is expected to start Thursday evening, with total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres.

Snow, heavy at times, is expected from Thursday evening through Friday afternoon for the communities of Ogoki Post and Marten Falls First Nation. The communities of Fort Hope and Lansdowne House may see very little snow. The snow will ease to periods of snow Friday evening.
