SUPERIOR NORTH -- Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for parts of the region
A special weather statement Wednesday morning says snowfall is expected to start Wednesday afternoon, with total snowfall amounts of 15 to 20 centimetres.
The snowfall will begin near noon and ease in intensity to periods of snow late Wednesday night. Periods of snow will likely continue through Thursday.
Temperatures will be near the freezing mark this afternoon which may allow rain to mix in with the snow at times.
Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Beardmore - Jellicoe - Macdiarmid
- Gull Bay - Black Sturgeon Lake
- Nipigon - Rossport
- Geraldton - Longlac - Caramat
- Manitouwadge - Hornepayne
