RED ROCK—Red Rock Royal Canadian Legion Branch 226, and Township of Manitouwadge announced that due to impending poor weather conditions their Remembrance Day service will be moved indoors.
Red Rock Legion will have their ceremony indoors, upstairs at the Legion Hall, with the service scheduled to begin at 10:20 a.m.
The Township of Manitouwadge will have their Remembrance Day service move to the Auditorium at the Community Centre where the service will begin at 10:45 a.m. Geraldton Robert Frost Legion 32, will start their service with a parade scheduled to begin at the fire hall at 10:45 a.m. and arrive at the Cenotaph at 10:55 a.m. Once wreaths are laid, the service will continue inside the Legion Hall.
Residents of Terrace Bay will be able to go to the Remembrance Day service which is scheduled to begin at 10:45 a.m. at their Cenotaph. The service will continue in the TB activity room hosted by le club francophone du lac Supérieur.
Nipigon Legion Branch 32 will begin their service at the Legion at 10:30 a.m. and will then move inside to their Legion Hall.
Marathon is offering a virtual option for those who cannot attend the service being held in their arena beginning at 10:22 a.m. To access the Remembrance Day service virtually, residents are asked to follow " Marathon Royal Canadian Legion Br #183" for the live stream.
