FORT HOPE -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Fort Hope - Webequie area Tuesday morning.
The government weather agency says strong wind gusts up to 80 kilometres an hour is expected Tuesday morning into Tuesday afternoon.
A wind warning for Peawanuck has also been issued as strong wind gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour is expected this afternoon and early Tuesday evening.
Loose objects may be tossed by the wind and cause injury or damage. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break.
