GULL BAY -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Gull Bay - Black Sturgeon Lake area.
The goverment weather agency states snow will begin Monday evening and spread eastwards overnight.
Total snowfall accumulations near 10 centimetres are expected by Tuesday evening, with a few locations possibly reaching near 15 centimetres.
Strong northwesterly winds gusting 50 to 60 kilometres an hour on Tuesday may produce local blowing snow leading to reduced visibilities at times.
This snowfall is due to an Alberta Clipper that will track east across the region Monday night.
Difficult travel conditions are expected.
