SUPERIOR NORTH -- Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for parts of the region, warning of a significant snowfall this weekend.
A special weather statement Friday morning says snow is expected to arrive on Saturday and continue into Sunday afternoon.
The government weather agency says consider changing travel plans accordingly, as hazardous winter travelling conditions are likely.
Snowfall warnings or winter weather travel advisories may be issued as the event draws nearer.
