Special weather statement in effect for parts of the region

Up to 15 millimetres of rain is expected for parts of the region.

SUPERIOR NORTH -- Environment Canada is warning of additional rainfall Friday morning.

The government weather agency says another round of showers or thunderstorms will affect parts of the region this morning and will taper off throughout the morning.

Rainfall amounts of 10 to 15 millimetres is expected.
