KAPUSKASING—The Municipality of Kapuskasing has had a strong demand from artisans wishing to have exhibits at their Christmas Market this year.
As a result, the Municipality has had to change some things for their selection of exhibitors, and the application process.
The Municipality had put out their notice inviting interested exhibitors to complete the required form online or in person at the Centre De Loisirs, before the deadline, which is set for Oct. 5, 2022.
However, with such a strong response by interested artisans and with the Christmas Market set to take place Nov. 18 and 19, 2022, the municipality informed local artisans of the following changes for the selection of exhibitors this year:
- Interested exhibitors must complete this form online or in person at the Centre by the deadline (Oct. 5 ): https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/56C3B32
- The Market’s committee will choose the exhibitors if the applications exceed the maximum number of booths available (27 booths).
- The committee will also choose the locations of the exhibitors on the floor plan.
- Exhibitors will be limited to 1 booth, two panels and two tables this year to accommodate more exhibitors.
The Christmas Market will take place Nov. 18 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Nov. 19, from 9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.
