WAWA – According to the Superior East OPP, officers responded to a domestic dispute on the afternoon of Jan. 7 on Hillcrest Avenue.
As a result of the investigation, OPP said that a 22-year-old person from Wawa was arrested and charged with spousal assault and two counts of mischief.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently released.
They will appear before the court in February 2024 in Wawa.
OPP stated that due to the domestic nature of the incident, the name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
