TBDHU holding vaccination clinic in Terrace Bay

TBDHU is reminding Terrace Bay residents to book appointments in advance for next week's vaccination clinic.

TERRACE BAY -- The Thunder Bay District Health Unit will be holding a vaccination clinic next Tuesday.

The health unit will be holding a vaccination clinic for anyone requiring a first, second, third or booster dose at Michael King Hall from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Officials want to remind resident to book appointments in advance on the Ontario Health website.

If you don't have access to the internet or require assistance call 1-833-943-3900 to book your appointment.

The following high-risk groups will be eligible to book a COVID-19 booster dose appointment if at least six months have passed since their last dose:

  • Individuals aged 70+ (born in 1951 or earlier)
  • Health care workers and designated essential caregivers in congregate settings
  • Individuals who received two dose of the AstraZeneca Vaxzevria vaccine or one dose of the Janssen vaccine
  • Indigenous adults and their non-Indigenous household members
