TERRACE BAY — Residents of the Township of Terrace Bay came through once again. The Friends of Terrace Bay Parks- Bench and Picnic Table Program has almost sold out within one week of launching this program.
The organization was happy to announce that they only have one picnic table left, and express thanks to all the sponsors for their efforts in making this newly launched program such a huge success.
The program which was launched a week ago, was designed by the Friends of Terrace Bay Parks. Their goal was to give residents an opportunity to adopt a bench/picnic table in memory of a loved one, to dedicate a bench/picnic table to a friend, family member or to commemorate a special event.
According to Friends of Terrace Bay Parks, “it was also aimed at being a lasting tribute that benefits the community as a whole enhancing your community’s parks and open space areas.”
As they do have one more picnic table left, anyone wishing to sponsor this picnic table should contact Michelle Malashewski, community development assistant at 807-825-3315 ext.7102.
