TERRACE BAY—Superior Catholic School Board invites everyone to a special event. On Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 17 Cartier Drive in Terrace Bay, the official grand opening of the Catholic Education Centre will take place.

Superior North Catholic School Board is pleased to celebrate their office expansion which is attached to the St. Martin Catholic School, in Terrace Bay, Ont.

According to Deana Figliomeni, executive administrative assistant and communications officer, “The relocation of our office building expansion in Terrace Bay from Simcoe Plaza to the new location attached to St. Martin School was completed in 2020, but with the pandemic, we were unable to hold our grand opening event. The expansion was required due to the required changes set out by the Accessibility Act; business and public sector organizations must be accessible to all, and modernization is required for compliance and safety.”

The board office is now fully accessible to all members of the North Shore Communities. “We analyzed our requirements for the office and selected the most cost-effective and energy-efficient solution to meet the needs of our organization,” said Figliomeni.

With the grand opening and open house being held June 11, 2022, Superior North Catholic School Board is proud to be an integral part of the North Shore.  Deana Figliomeni shared that, “We are committed to being a vital part of the economic and educational aspect of our community.”

There will be a free BBQ, refreshments, children’s activities, and a tour of the new office building! Everyone is welcome to attend.
