TERRACE BAY—Winterfest festivities are scheduled to begin March19, but their “Snow Sculpture challenge has been ongoing in since February.
Residents were reminded by the municipality that there are only 10 days left to create a “Snow Sculpture” on your property or public space. They are looking forward to finding the most creative sculpture, large or small and props are welcome.
Several great prizes are up for grabs:
First Place: $75, Terrace Bay hoodie and free family bowling pass
Second Place: $50 & Terrace Bay hoodie and free family bowling pass
Third Place: Terrace Bay hoodie and free family bowling pass
Entries are to be submitted with your name, photos of your design and sculpture’s location to [email protected]
Deadline for all entries is 4 p.m. on March 19; with winners being selected by a panel of judges in Terrace Bay. They wish to inform participants that they reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify or discount any entrant, image or vote connected to votes cast by unfair means.
Winners will be notified by March 25, with the decision of the judges being final.
The municipality also reiterated some key expectations regarding “Entries and Identification” and “Copyright notice” to be aware of when entering your photos. Entrants are reminded to enter appropriate content.
This fun challenge to community willing participants is part of Terrace Bay’s 75th Anniversary celebrations.
