Terrace Bay Winterfest weekend a time for more 75th anniversary celebrations

Celebrating an anniversary is always an exciting time for any municipality, but celebrating a 75th anniversary adds to its significance. Terrace Bay continues to plan and provide events so that its residents can not only be aware of this milestone, but engage and participate in activities to celebrate it.

TERRACE BAY—The municipality of Terrace Bay continues to find ways to help their McCausland Hospital and other organizations in their community. They are adding a fund raiser to their 75th Anniversary celebration, Winterfest 2022 to do just that.

The municipality is asking all Terrace Bay residents to purchase a “Winterfest Botton” which is part of a 50/50 draw. Adults will pay $3 while youth under 17 years of age will pay $1 for this button.

Proceeds will go to the auxiliary of the McCausland Hospital and le club francophone du lac Supérieur

Interested residents wanting to help this great 50/50 fundraiser, can purchase buttons at the Terrace Bay Community Centre Office and the Library.

The municipality has offered different prizes for both youth and adults. Youth prizes for those aged 17 years and under will be Gift baskets filled with an assortment of items.

The Adult prize will be a monetary share of the 50/50 draw, for which you must be 18 years or older, in order to qualify.
