Three people injured in collision north of Terrace Bay

TERRACE BAY, ON — An early-morning single-vehicle collision on a road north of Terrace Bay left three people hurt, including two with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP, Superior North EMS paramedics, and the Terrace Bay fire department responded to the incident which occurred at 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Mill Road.

The injured parties were taken to Terrace Bay hospital.

OPP charged a 19-year-old Schreiber man with impaired driving, impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, and being a novice driver with a blood alcohol count above zero.

The man received a 90-day administrative driver's licence suspension, and had his vehicle impounded for seven days.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Schreiber later this month.
