Thunder Bay District Health Unit hosting district COVID-19 clinics

Thunder Bay District Health Unit will be hosting several COVID-19 clinics in the Superior North region.

THUNDER BAY— The Thunder Bay District Health Unit continues to work with district partners including family health teams, community health centres and First Nations partners who are responsible for administering vaccines to their community.

The communities of Marathon, Manitouwadge, Geraldton and Longlac will be accepting appointments for the COVID-19 vaccine according to the following schedule and at the locations indicated.

  • Tuesday, Nov. 1, Marathon- Located at Lakeview Community Hall from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Those with appointments will be given priority. Walk-ins accepted for anyone five years of age and older as vaccine supply allows. To guarantee a vaccine, please book an appt
  • Wednesday, Nov. 2, Manitouwadge-Located at Manitouwadge from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 9, Geraldton-Located at Royal Canadian Legion from 2:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, Nov. 10, Longlac-Located at Royal Canadian Legion from 12:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.

Those with appointments will be given priority. Walk-ins accepted for anyone five years of age and older as vaccine supply allows. To guarantee a vaccine, please book an appt

In addition, TBDHU added that, clinics are open to everyone aged 5 and older for any dose they are eligible for, including individuals aged 60 and over for 4th doses (second boosters), as long as they meet the dose interval eligibility
