MARATHON — Three people face charges in connection with the theft of firearms from a residence in Marathon.
Ontario Provincial Police announced Wednesday that they have charged a 33-year-old man from Marathon, a 48-year-old woman from Marathon, and a 14-year-old youth.
Charges include break and enter with intent to steal a firearm, and break and enter into a dwelling house to commit an indictable offence.
The case dates back to Nov.18, 2023 when police received a report of a break-in that occurred between Nov. 16-17 in which multiple firearms were stolen.
All three accused are being held in custody, and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
