Two people were taken to hospital following assault

A late night assault sends two people to hospital in Geraldton last week.

Ontario Provincial Police attended a residence on Thursday, April 21 around 10:30 p.m. where they located two males who had been assaulted.

GERALDTON – Two people were taken to hospital following an assault in Geraldton last week.

According to an Ontario Provincial Police release, officers attended a residence on Thursday, April 21 around 10:30 p.m. where they located two males who had been assaulted.

Police say the two individuals were taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the investigation, eight individuals face a total of 44 charges.

Tianna ATLOOKAN, 22, and Kieonne FISHER, 20, and Randy WESLEY, 41, all of Greenstone are charged with:

  • Two counts of aggravated assault
  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Break and enter
  • Robbery with a weapon

Kordak FISHER, 22, Matthew JOHNSON, 22, and Andrew SUTHERLAND, 27, all of Greenstone, as well as a 16-year old male, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are charged with:

  • Two counts of aggravated assault
  • Two counts of assault with a weapon
  • Break and enter
  • Robbery with a weapon

JOHNSON and SUTHERLAND are also charged with fail to comply with release order.

River FISHER, 27, of Thunder Bay was charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

All of the accused were remanded in custody until a scheduled to court appearance on April 26, 2022.
