RED ROCK—With the Municipality of Red Rock launching its “Spring Clean-up” program next week, it wants residents to be aware of the hours set for this initiative to take place.
According to the municipality, “The Municipal Dump located on Highway 11/17, will be open for Spring Clean-up from May 23-May 28, 2022."
Clear expectations and guidelines provided by the municipality, including the following:
- No vehicle batteries, ashes, construction or demolition debris is allowed for dumping at the site.
- All refrigerated appliances must be tagged. Tags are available at the Municipal Office.
- Small quantities of motor oil can be delivered at the Public Works yard for public disposal.
- Public Works can no longer accept paint for disposal.
Residents are asked that for town truck daily pick ups to have articles on the curbside by 7 a.m. Pick up fee will be waived during this time and there will not be any collection of Saturday.
Landfill hours will be as follows:
Tuesday, May 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, Thursday, May 26, Friday, May 27, and Saturday, May 28, from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m. daily.
