GREENSTONE, ON — At least two people suffered serious injuries in a Tuesday morning collision between a pair of tractor-trailer units on Highway 11.

Ontario Provincial Police say one transport truck rear-ended another near Lindemann Bay,  about halfway between Jellicoe and Geraldton.

An OPP spokesperson described one of the individual's injuries as critical.

The collision forced a prolonged closure of Highway 11 in both directions before it was reopened to one lane for alternating traffic.

Police continue their investigation.
