HORNEPAYNE — Due to a water break in their community, the Municipality of Hornepayne has recently issued a boil water advisory.
The township informed its residents that the affected area, Front Street between Third and Fourth Avenue will be under a Boil Water Advisory once water service is restored.
According to their Public Works Department, the break on Front Street appears to be a main line break. The PWD has made arrangements for Villeneuve Construction to begin repair work Monday morning in order to complete repairs as soon as possible.
The township also indicated that for now they are unable to advise when water service will be restored to the area, as staff is currently making arrangements for the necessary repairs.
