HORNEPAYNE—On Thursday, Oct. 27, there will be water distribution repairs on Third Avenue in the Township of Hornepayne.
As a result, the following addresses may experience a disruption to water services: 184-210 Third Avenue.
According to Ontario Clean Water Agency, (OCWA) the repairs can last up to eight hours. In addition, possible water disruption and possible boil water advisory for the above locations, if necessary may occur.
The township’s notice, also indicated that road closure and or lane reduction will occur.
A spokesman from the Ontario Clean Water Agency indicated that, “The purpose for this water distribution repair is that we are just doing a service line repair, and recently told the affected residents about this, in case they have to shut the water,” stated Mark from the OCWA.
He also indicated that this they do not see this work as leading to the need for a boil water notification.
