Highway 17 has reopened east of Wawa.
The highway had been closed between Wawa and Batchawana Bay on Thursday morning due to weather and road conditions.
Environment Canada had issued a snow squall warning for the area, forecasting possible whiteout conditions with heavy and blowing snow.
