Saturday:
Shinny – 12 and under at the Geraldton Community Centre. Shinny is for those who want to improve their hockey skills outside of minor hockey. It's a great way to burn some energy and have fun with your friends. Yearly shinny passes can only be purchased at your local ward office for $65.95. Daily passes can only be purchased at the arenas for $5.52 per skate. Before going on the ice you will need to fill out a Code of Conduct which must be signed by an adult prior to stepping on the ice. 3 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Parents & Tots skating at the Geraldton Community Centre! Parents and tots is free for everyone. This program is geared towards those who are just beginning to skate. It's a great way to go on the ice with your child and teach them how to skate and have fun. Skatemates will be available which help your child skate as it stabilizes them and gets them used to standing on the ice with skates. 4 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
Longlac
Saturday:
Parents & Tots skating at the Longlac Community Centre! Parents and tots is free for everyone. This program is geared towards those who are just beginning to skate. It's a great way to go on the ice with your child and teach them how to skate and have fun. Skatemates will be available which help your child skate as it stabilizes them and gets them used to standing on the ice with skates. 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. and again on Sunday form 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.

Daily passes can only be purchased at the arenas for $5.52 per skate for those 13 years of age and anyone 14 years of age or older will be $6.25 due to HST. Before going on the ice you will need to fill out a Code of Conduct which must be signed by an adult prior to stepping on the ice. 7 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. and again on Sunday from 3:30 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
Sunday:
There will be free hot chocolate and hot dogs and a visit from Santa during the Skate with Santa at the Longlac Sportsplex. A free event for the entire family to enjoy. Come out and have some fun! 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Nakina
Saturday:
