WHITE RIVER — A 53-year-old from White River has been charged with sexual assault after an incident last weekend.
Provincial police said officers received a complaint of a sexual assault on Spruce Street in White River on the afternoon of Nov. 5.
The investigation, which included assistance from the Sault Ste. Marie OPP crime unit, led to the accused being charged with two counts of sexual assault.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Wawa in December.
