WHITE RIVER – Those travelling in the White River – Dubreuilville area Wednesday should exercise caution due to snowfall that could fall heavily at times, warns Environment Canada.
The agency declared a winter weather travel advisory early Wednesday morning, expecting it would be in effect from the morning through the day.
Lake enhanced snowfall is expected to begin in the morning and continue through the day.
Total snowfall amounts of five to 10 centimetres are expected by late this evening when the snow transitions to rain.
Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather.
If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
