​​​​​SUPERIOR NORTH – Those travelling Tuesday morning should exercise caution due to weather conditions, warns Environment Canada.

The agency declared a winter weather travel advisory early Tuesday morning, stating that total snow accumulations of 10 to 15 centimetres is expected around Wawa - Pukaskwa Park and White River - Debreuilville area beginning Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning..

Reduced visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in heavy snow and blowing snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.
