Mr. Barton Smith, age 69 years, resident of Thunder Bay, passed away suddenly at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre on May 14, 2025. Born on February 16, 1956 in Port Arthur, he was raised and educated in Port Arthur and attended Lakeview High School. He was employed with Lakehead District School Board. Bart enjoyed fishing and football.
Bart is survived by his children, grandchildren, and siblings. Bart is predeceased by wife Jennifer, and his parents.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 4, 2025, at 4:00pm at Dragon’s Den, 1010 Dawson Rd., with his grandson, Nathan, presiding. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
