It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cody Kellogg on October 22, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Cody was born in Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan on February 19, 1929. He moved to Thunder Bay in 1943. When he worked in the bush, as a scaler, he met Lillian. He was a supervisor for TCPL for 33 years. Cody and Lillian travelled extensively and were married for 63 years. The family lived at TCPL stations for many years and retired at their cottage at Dog Lake, which he built wholly and proudly.
Cody’s jokes and sense of humor will be sadly missed by “the kid” Lisa (Rick), his sisters-in-law Kathy, Helen (Larry), his brother-in-law Glen, many nieces and nephews and close camp neighbors Christa, Randy and Cole.
Cody is predeceased by his wife Lillian, his parents, his siblings Mae, Stanley, Alan and Lawrence and his brothers-in-law Lawrence and Winston.
A celebration of Cody’s life will take place 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Rev. Ed Long. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Interment in Lappe Cemetery will follow the reception. Donations in memory of Cody may be made to the Dew Drop Inn.
