Donald Richard Tilson, 90, resident of Dorion, passed away peacefully on May 9th, 2025 at Nipigon Hospital surrounded by his favourite and best family and friends.
Survived by his daughter Karen (Brett) Rody, Matthew (Jessica), Nora, Claire; Melinda (Jeremy) Luby, Theodore; son Richard (Gisele), Nathaniel (Jessica), Evyn, Ryen, Rory; Cassandra, Abigail; Natasha Tilson, Rae, Aubrey, Declan, Hadley; grandchildren Jessica Abbott, Alex Abbott (Jamie), James; great granddaughter Allyanna; sisters Betty Doucet, Jean (John) Albertson, brother John, as well as many extended family.
Daughter Dawn (Drew) Christie, Tiffany.
Predeceased by his wife Alice in March 2024, son James, daughter Charlene, parents Esther and Frank Tilson, mother and father-in-law Karen (Mae) and Henry Albertson; siblings Dorothy, Tom, Shirley, Frank, Fred, Bonnie, as well as other various extended family.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Doctor Jon Scully and the fabulous nurses and staff we had looking after dad/grandpa and supporting us through this journey.
