Emilio Feletto, age 46 years, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 12, 2021.

Emilio was born on December 16, 1974, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, to a large and loving family. He was raised and educated locally and could not walk more than a few feet without knowing someone and stopping to chat or have coffee. He was employed as a Foreman with Syncor Contracting for close to a decade and had a special relationship and many memories with his boss Donny Demichele and Eric Lozier (his right-hand man), along with several other co-workers. Like his dad, Emilio had gifted hands and loved everything to do with construction, whether cement finishing or carpentry. Emilio was always looking for new projects.

Emilio held immense pride in his work and in providing for his family. He also had a passion for motorcycles and dirt bikes which he shared with his son Max. The two of them could be found at the track twice a week before heading out for ice cream afterwards. It was where they went to be boys and escape the girls. He loved that his kids were involved in so many activities (gymnastics, basketball, swimming, etc.) and to talk about their accomplishments. The family also enjoyed camping, fishing, and attending large family gatherings and events. Emilio was the best at setting up backyard water slides and activities for the kids and for sneaking candy or five dollars to each child at the party. Emilio enjoyed being the life of a party, planning pranks and cracking numerous jokes.

Emilio is survived and will be deeply missed by his wife, Kristi and their children, Brooklyn, Paige, Kayla, Max and Landyn; mother, Diana; siblings, Paola Turner (Frank Earley), Dolores (Jim) Drabek, Vicky Miller and Walter (Jennifer Fawcett); nieces and nephews, Samantha (Mike) Sobkowich, Mitchell (Kayla) Drabek, Trevor (Ashley) Drabek and Angelina Feletto (Byron Katapaytuk). Also surviving are mother-in-law, Susan (Nick) Veltri; father in-law Robert MacLean (Norma Shewchuk); sisters in-law, Kari (Dan) Lavoie and Kelli (Chris) Stecky and nieces and nephews, Peyton, Jasper, Chase and Allie and other extended family.

He is predeceased by his infant daughter and angel Lydia; father, Ivan Paolo; brother in-law Bruce Miller and nephew Clayton Turner.

At the request of Emilio's children, the family is asking for privacy at this time and thank everyone for their ongoing support. A celebration of life may be held at a later time. Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Feletto Children Trust Account. Donations may be dropped off at: BMO Northwood Branch, 425 Edward St. N, Thunder Bay ON P7C 4P7, the Westfort Chapel or e-transferred to felettochildren@gmail.com.
