Mrs. Grace Jordan Pollock (nee McGee), born March 13, 1936 in Weyburn Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2023 in Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Grace was predeceased by her husband David Pollock (April 12, 2014); stepbrother & sister, Roland and Anne McGee and her parents Myrtle & Edward McGee; brother-in-law Jack Pollock and in-laws John (Scotty) & Marjorie Pollock.

She is survived by her four children, Kevin, Cory (Janine), Cheryl and Murray (Lorraine); eight grandchildren, David (Robin), Ernest (Amanda), Marissa, Andrew, Stephen, Murray Jr, Lorne and Jordan (Ellen) as well as numerous nephews & nieces and one great-grandchild Cecelia Pollock.

Grace was a very loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother. If you had the gift of meeting her, she would be equally generous of her time and thoughtfulness. Grace's friends were very dear to her and she cherished the Cottrell, Shchepanik, Merlo & Wiltshires as extended families.

Grace met David at a Winston Hall dance and married on July 31, 1953 in Fort William, Ontario. The two of them were like two peas in a pod and resided all their lives in Westfort and raised their family there.

Grace and Dave’s lives were enriched with camping at Kakabeka Falls and travelling to see family from Thunder Bay to the west coast. They also travelled south to Duluth, Minnesota for the occasional shopping sprees. Every family festive season, Grace and Dave would make their famous cabbage rolls and perogies, a Ukrainian menu from their dear friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Grandview and Hogarth Riverview Manor who truly cared for our mother. You know who you are, as there are too many names to mention. Thank you.

Funeral services for the late Grace Pollock will be held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street at James. Interment will take place in Mountainview Cemetery, with a reception to follow in the Westfort Chapel.

For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be livestreamed on the Everest of Thunder Bay website. The video link will appear on Grace's memorial page under “Photos and Videos” just prior to service time.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the FireFighter Toys for Tots Fund.
