It is with great sadness that the family of Henri Raymond Perrier announces his sudden passing on October 17, 2022, in Chelem, Yucatan, Mexico at the age of 59.

Born in Fort William on March 6, 1963, Henri attended various schools including Sir Winston Churchill and Confederation College. He then pursued a job with the Canadian Armed Forces, reaching the rank of Sergeant NCO Officer, this job took him to places such as Shilo, Manitoba, Wainwright, Alberta, Coral Harbour, Nunavut, and Lahr, Germany. After his military career, he took a job on a job as a 911 operator, eventually moving into a manager position. After leaving this job, he was hired on at Tbaytel, where he would work in the repair department, then as a network engineer until retirement.

After his retirement, he moved to Mexico, where he would spend his time living between Chuburna and Chelem. He enjoyed his time spent fishing and on the beaches with his dog of ten years, Max. Throughout his life, he was involved in many different sports and leagues. He was an avid baseball player in his 20s and 30s, spent a few years playing in the local pool league, and spent close to 25 years in the Lakehead Dart League as both a player and the president of the league for a number of years. He was inducted into the Lakehead Dart League Hall of Fame in 2013.

He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Pauline, as well as brothers Wayne and Bernard (Infants).

He is survived by his son Matthew (Monica), as well as his sisters Linda, Helen, and Cindy. Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life is to be held at a later date. If desired, donations can be made in Henri’s honour to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or the Thunder Bay District Humane Society.
