It is with heavy hearts we mourn the passing of Linda Irene Procup (Dubray) of Thunder Bay, Ontario, on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the age of 72. Linda passed peacefully with her family at her bedside.
Linda will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ron, son Timothy Swoluk, her grandson Brady Swoluk (partner Carly) and her granddaughter Lyndsey. Linda will always be dearly missed by her sisters Veronica Ramsay (Keith) of Nobel, Ontario, Christine Santorelli, her brothers Russel Dubray (Joyce), David Dubray (Candy), Tony Dubray (Verna), and Vincent Dubray (Janet), of Hinton, Alberta. Many nieces and nephews, and her pups Cocoa and Peanut, will miss her greatly.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Violet and Louis (Russ) Dubray, her son Christopher Swoluk and her brother-in-law Guy Santorelli.
In her younger years, Linda could usually be found in the early morning in her kitchen creating unique and flavourful desserts. She loved to travel and take her chances with the slot machines.
Linda worked many jobs over the years, including A to Z Rentals. Working for Ardene's, Linda was the Manager for the Thunder Bay locations, and the Regional Supervisor for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Minneapolis and Duluth locations until she retired.
As per Linda's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. If friends so desire, donations to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society would be appreciated.
