Mr. Narvi McLean, age 80 years, passed away suddenly but peacefully in his home on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Narvi was born on August 12, 1942 in Saskatchewan. He worked as an automotive mechanic, which was his passion for over 47 years. In his retirement years he drove school bus for Iron Range and loved “the little buggers”. He was a member of the A.C.T. for over 20 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends; he also had a love of dogs.

Narvi will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his dear wife of over 60 years, Kathleen “Kay”; their children: Holly Pucci (Sergio), Kim Thomson (Charlie) and Bart McLean (Donna); grandchildren: Alysha Thomson (Zack), Brandon McLean (Kate), Brittany Pucci, Stephanie Hamilton (Evan), Nicole Hoffman (Jordan) and Katelyn Pucci; great-grandchildren: Luke and Benjamin Hamilton and Harper Hoffman; sisters: Stella Remillard (Aurele) and Wanetta Keith; step-sister Marion Olynick (Lorne); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

He was predeceased by his parents Angus and Catherine McLean, brothers Don, Keith, Wes, half-brother Al, sisters Vivian, Bernice, Laurette and step-sister Peggy.

Narvi’s family would like to thank the Fire Fighter first responders, EMS and Harbourview Funeral Centre.

A celebration of Narvi’s life will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin one hour prior. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be streamed live and then archived at www.harbourviewfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered as well.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a dog rescue of your choice.
