I work hard to hold a compassionate and safe space to empower you to get fully intune with your emotions, thoughts, and physical experiences. At the heart of my practice is the belief that when people tune into their inner experiences they gain more control and agency over their lives.
I work with couples who feel disconnected, are navigating stressful times, or are unsure about the future of their relationship. If you find yourself stuck in a cycle of never-ending arguments or questioning whether your relationship can last, I can help. Together, we’ll identify and understand the patterns and dynamics that aren’t working in your relationship. From there, I’ll guide you in developing skills to manage healthy conflict, gain fresh insights, and create new patterns that meet both your needs and your partner’s.
I primarily use EFT and ACT, along with insights from Gottman’s principles. I approach these sessions with an attachment lens, believing that as couples learn to move towards each other and build safety within their relationship, they can thrive through the challenges and the complexities of their relationship.
I work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, stress, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and post-secondary stress. I’m always expanding my knowledge by learning and incorporating new methods and techniques. Currently, I’m pursuing additional training to support individuals with ADD/ADHD.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also incorporate elements of Narrative and Solution-Focused Therapy.
