GREENSTONE – A section of Highway 11 in the Beardmore area has partially reopened after a collision involving a school bus caused hours of closures on Tuesday.
The highway reopened to one lane of traffic around 8 kilometres west of Beardmore around 4:30 p.m., according to Ontario 511. The service warned of possible delays, with traffic control in place.
The OPP reported one student was treated for minor injuries in the collision between a school bus and a pick-up truck, while the driver of the pick-up was transported to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment of injuries.
