GREENSTONE — Police are looking for help from the public as they continue to investigate a recent death in the Municipality of Greenstone.

OPP responded just after midnight on May 15 to a report of a medical emergency in Geraldton.

One person was taken to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.

In an update on the case released Tuesday, police said they are asking Geraldton residents to check their video surveillance systems for any suspicious persons or activity between May 14 and May 15.

Investigators are also trying to find a folding knife that's apparently connected to the case.

"If located, please do not touch. If you are in possession, or have located this item, please call the police immediately," OPP stated.

Anyone with information or video that may be useful in the investigation is asked to contact Greenstone OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
