Matt Prokopchuk, Local Journalism Initiative Reporter

Matt joins the Newswatch team after more than 15 years working in print and broadcast media in Thunder Bay, where he was born and raised. A lover of music, he refuses to part with his (still growing) CD collection.

He covers civic issues in Northwestern Ontario under the Local Journalism Initiative, which is funded by the Government of Canada.
